Serving Our Bayou Since 1964

Our name has changed over the years—from R&R, to H&R, to Double D, and now D&D Drive In. Despite the numerous name changes, the heart of what we do has stayed the same. We’re known for our locally famous chili, crave-worthy hot dogs, and classic diner-style favorites like burgers, milkshakes, sundaes, and hand-battered fried chicken.

A Family Business from the Start

D&D was started by Roland Ledet, a Korean War veteran who, after returning home, managed the local bowling alley and later opened the restaurant with his wife, Ruth.

Their son David and his wife Darlene later took over, and today, their daughter Erin and her husband Adam help run the place—making D&D a three-generation, family-owned restaurant.
